The problem - definition
This can be defined as a persistent, irrational fear of an animal or insect. The most common being dogs, mice, cats, birds, wasps and spiders.
Case history
A young woman came to see me with a debilitating fear of mice. This was spoiling her life and relationship. Her boyfriend’s younger siblings kept these as pets and she was being teased about her fears. After one session the fear had virtually gone, after the second session the client was totally comfortable with the idea of mice and feeling generally more confident even to the extend of not being bothered by the pet mice she saw in her boyfriends house.
